Thokozile holds a Masters Degree in Business Leadership (MBL) from the University of South Africa (Unisa), she also holds a bachelor of law (BJuris) from Unisa where she majored in Private Law and the Law of contracts in 1999. She completed a Management Development Programme and various certificates in scenario planning and strategic thinking, strategic marketing and game changing strategies through the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). She believes in the power of education to effect change. She has expertise in market research, brand and product elevation and identifying business opportunities. One of her key strengths is in business growth and nurturing through the development of skills in others. This strength is reflected in her transformational leadership qualities. She believes in the sharing of information and the empowerment of others through skills transfer. She is a member of the Fire Protection Association (FPA) Board of Directors and is a Chairperson of the Audit, Risk and Compliance Committee at the FPA. She previously served as the Head of Education portfolio at the Insurance Institute of Gauteng (IIG), she was nominated as Vice-President of this institution in 2016 and in 2017 she was nominated as its Deputy President. Thokozile Mahlangu is a prolific visionary, strategist and tactician. Her areas of expertise are in Strategic Planning, Development and Implementation. She has a proven track record of successfully developing strategies that grow businesses and elevate brand and product awareness to stakeholders. Her strengths are in developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, strategic marketing, effective communication and general business analysis. She is a game changer and a change management agent, and she is forever questioning and disrupting the status quo.
