Francois Wirth has nearly three decades’ experience in the IT field and founding member of the BrightRock team, where he is the Chief Information Officer. He joined this dynamic life insurance player as a technology architect shortly after it was established in 2011. Under his leadership, BrightRock has adopted innovative technological solutions in the life insurance sector, significantly boosting operational efficiency and improving client engagement. Francois is passionate about blockchain technology, recognising its transformative potential for financial systems and intrigued by artificial intelligence and how it can be applied in everyday life to make life easier and refine decision-making. He is currently pursuing a BCom Law degree, with a view to bridging the divide between IT and the law, and addressing some of the legal intricacies associated with emerging technologies. At home, Francois is a devoted father of two teenagers, and leads an active lifestyle.
