Doug Rix
Global Head UW R&D Core & Innovation, Swiss-Re
Doug started his career in one of Old Mutual South Africa's investment management units before moving to insurance. He joined Swiss Re in 2009 and has subsequently held various roles across Middle East and Africa. In 2009 he took a global underwriting role and currently leads Underwriting R&D for Swiss Re's life & health business. His academic qualifications include degrees in finance, management and an MBA from the University of Cape Town.
