Carole holds an MBA from the University of Nicosia, in Cyprus, a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the University of Pretoria, a BCOM Honor’s degree for the same University, and a BA from Adventist University of Central Africa. She has also done several professionals courses in IT, Leadership, Business to mention only a few.

Carole has gained a diverse range of experiences in Telecoms, Investments, Construction, Security services, Building materials, Insurance brokerage, Food and Beverage , Agribusiness industries and Banking. Carole is a passionate Information Technologist with 22 years of experience. She has specialized herself in IT Strategy, Digital Transformation, Solutions Architecture, Programs Management, that designs and implements IT Strategies and Solutions that drives innovation, businesses efficiency and continuity in its different areas of operations.

She had achieved automation of different business processes thus allowing companies to focus on their core businesses and concentrate on turning companies into profitable businesses. She has also managed and delivered various IT and Business projects that require integration of various Vendors, platforms and Solutions following IT standards and Processes. She is currently working on various digitization projects that embodied cybersecurity, AI, mobility and big data and data analytics.

She has successfully leaded the organization she works for to get certified with ISO 20000 for IT Service management, ISO 27001 for Information Security and PCI DSS for card payment. She has also managed operations of two newly founded companies and grow them into independents and profitable businesses. She is a key IT advisor for various companies.

Carole has shown great leadership and managerial skills in all assigned roles, projects and tasks. Her teams in the various institutions she worked for had always been the best company performers. Innovation, Technology and result driven motivates her most.

Carole serves in various boards of commercial institutions and Non-Governmental Organizations. She is an active member for the Infrastructure, IT, Audit and finance committees.

She also much involved in activities aiming at women and youth education, empowerment, and financial inclusion.

Carole is Result driven and uses a lot of critical thinking in day-to-day life.

Today, Carole leads the Technology department at Equity Bank Rwanda where she oversees Business transformation through digitalization to create a bank of the future. She completed the Technological merger project.

Having lived in different countries, she is fluent In English, French, Swahili and Kinyarwanda.

She enjoys reading, travelling and innovating. She is also engaging in various benevolent causes that empowers children and women. She is an advocate of girls and Women in STEM.
