
Asha Hemrajani
Senior Research Fellow, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
Asha Hemrajani has over 20 years of career history in tech, including policy, mobile telecommunications, domain names, cybersecurity and consulting, in global and regional roles including Global Head of Sales for a €1.5Billion mobile network infrastructure business line at one of the world’s largest telecom infrastructure firms. Currently she is Senior Research Fellow at S Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where she focusses on tech, cybersecurity and digital economy policy work. She was previously a member of the Board of Directors at the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), a non-profit global organization that manages and coordinates Internet resources worldwide. Board work included engagement with business and government policy leaders globally. In 2021, she was appointed to the Board of Directors for an Institute of Public Character (IPC) in Singapore. Asha has a ModularMaster in Cybersecurity from the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). She also has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Lafayette College, a Certificate in International Management from Stanford Business School, as well as a Certificate in Internet of Things (IoT) from the MIT Sloan School of Business. She has completed multiple corporate governance programmes at the Singapore Institute of Directors.
